WebDec 1, 2010 · The screen works fine, then for no reason it goes blank, completely black. I can press on the casing underneath the left Shift key (top or bottom) and the screen comes back on. Sometimes it stays for days, sometimes for seconds, before the routine repeats. I have checked the LCD cable inside, tightened all the screws, etc. Nothing seems to help.
